Do you have a national identity document ?

you may check your country specific requirements if national identity document is required......otherwise its not mandatory.....if you have check "Yes and provide the details......if you don't have check "No".

It will be better if you could fill in the details of any national Identity doc or you can even skip it as that field is not mandatory! Do get a second opinion though:)

I don't think Americans have national ID cards. The question says something like "National identification document (if applicable)" - not all countries have these.

Whıch document for usa cıtızens natıonal
I just said Americans don't have one. They tend to just use their driver's licences for everything.

That's not a national identification document the way actual national ID cards are. National ID cards are documents which are, in most cases, mandatory for every person living in a country to have, and they have a picture and the person's information on them. There's no such thing in the US (or in Canada, for that matter).

That question asks for a national identity document number if applicable, meaning if the applicant has one. If they don't, that question should be left blank/write N/A in it.

For reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_national_identity_card_policies_by_country
