Initial application January 30 2009
1st AOR from Nova Scotia February 12 2009
Full documents to Visa Office June 15 2009
2nd AOR Posted July 12 and received August 30 2009
Got information by e.mail (in process) June 29 2010
I wrote to the Visa officer an e.mail to find out about my application status and that is when i got a reply that my application is in process.
My E.cas has never been updated, after i sent my file to Visa office. It was only updated once when i got the information about my eligibility for further processing from nova Scotia.
On my 2nd AOR it was stated that the processing time is 18 months, if i started counting from July 2009, it means i have 2 months left to make 18 months and i have not received even medicals.
1) Advice me on what to do+
2) When do i start counting the 18 months?

This is strange ... i guess you should send them a case specific enquiry telling them it has already been 18 months ... M sure they will get back to you ...

That 18 months mean nothing. It's just a generalized figure. There r scores of factors to decide your timeframe... & u know that.
We should rather try to look at a step-by-step timeframe:
Genereally speaking again...
-5-7 months from the 2nd AOR one should get his/her Meds, or 2-4 month's time from any ADR (Addnl Docs Request).
-3-5 months from the Meds - PPR should arrive.
Hi Senior Qorax,
Thanks for the reply. From the other person's answer i sent the inquiry already. I am waiting for their answer. This is because they said i should contact them directly if i do not hear from them. i have done so.

Hi Mft,
I was told you have to start counting from the time you sent your full documents. But since your visa officer is fast you can have the medicals before the time.
