due to various reasons I had delayed in applying for citizenship.
Completed 3 years 6months back and am eligible for citizenship.
I am hearing I must apply for citizenship before June end else I have to have 4 years of 6years stay.
Any tips on a good thread to follow for quickly applying for citizenship?
Also, one of our passport is expiring in Aug. Im applying it right away and expect new passport in 1 month.
Is this going to affect my citizenship application?
Expired passports usually have no effect unless CIC believe you are hiding a passport. We recently had our test and interview and my wife's passports were expired and that didn't cause any problems.

We don't know when the new rules will go into effect, but many people think it will be in June or July of this year. For that reason, I suggest that that you not wait any longer than necessary to apply. Also, what is important is that you send the biographical pages of all passports that were valid in the last 4 years. The fact that a passport is expiring in August does not affect your application.
