Hello Friends,

Due to personal issues I cannot travel to Canada, I am a PR holder out of Canada at the moment, and expecting a baby in March 2022,
Can i apply for visitor visa later (after 6 months)for my baby even if I am out of Canada? Will they approve?
I see some posts about visitor visa rejection for dependent child when parent is outside canada, can't leave the baby and land in Canada just to apply for visitor visa/family class visa, does airline allow passenger to travel ?are expectant mothers allowed to travel 4 weeks before the due date?

You can only apply to sponsor your child from within Canada - do NOT submit the sponsorship app before returning.

If you wish to bring your child with you, you'll need to apply for a trv or trp for the child. Not all are refused. Is your spouse also a PR? That should help.
