Hi,

Seniors please help me with this problem. I have already filed initial application and got my AOR. Now preparing full docs to be sent, while doing this I have discovered that my wife's Date-of-Birth was mistaken in her passport. But her all other document's have mentioned the correct date of birth. But I have applied with the wrong Date-of-Birth as mentioned in her passport.

Please help me with this, what should I do now.

2. her correct DOB is only written in her educational, job & other docs
3. in the initial appl. ti CIO u have written the DOB as mentioned in passport

Hi shibleebd,

Her DOB is like one in passport, marriage certificate, Birth certificate, National ID card and it is another in University transcripts, SSC HSC certificates. I have used the passport DOB for initial application and got the initial AOR.

Should I send full doc to Sg mentioning her DOB was wrong in Transcripts and it is not correctable.

Thanks.

as per my understanding, one person can't have 2 DOBs. so, either u have to change the DOB in:

1.passport, marriage certificate, Birth certificate, National ID card

or

2.University transcripts, SSC HSC certificates

i would say u will have to chnge it & there is no choice. but i think if u change it in passport, marriage docs & birth certificates & national id cards, it might b less time consuming than chnging educational ones.

however, i am not an expert. so plz wait for senior's opinion
