I just got married recently in September. Me and my wife use to share appartment since 2014 August. We were appartment mates and good friends for a while. I proposed her in October 2016. I landed as single in July 2017. I am about to send her sponsorship application now. Will it create any problem. Please guide. Thanks

Yes it will most likely be a huge problem. When exactly did you become a couple? Were you dating since July 2016? Assume you were, since you proposed just a few months after this date.
So IRCC will see you committed misrepresentation by landing as single, when you were in fact common-law (having lived together 12 months with someone you were dating). So as a result, you will never be able to sponsor her, any app you submit for her will most likely end in rejection, and your own PR status may be investigated for the misrepresentation.
The only way to sponsor her would be if you weren't a dating couple around July 2016 nor living together, which from your story seems unlikely.
Or you can look to voluntarily renounce your own PR status, leave Canada, and try to qualify again for an immigration stream but this time include your spouse in the application. Your previous misrepresentation may or may not come up as an issue.
