Hi everyone!
I am planning to move around mid march and have got a few queries in relation to proof of funds when landing.

1)I am currently based in Australia and maintain funds in an Australian Bank Account. Should I open up an account with Scotia, TD or RBC before departure as apparently I can with these banks and get my funds transferred across?

2) Should I just take my Australian Bank account statement as proof of funds and open up a bank account after getting there?

3) Any check-list for new immigrants planning to move there( Drivers Licence/Tax registration/ Landing card?

I am getting nervous and this whole thing is making me really confused as I cant decide what to do :(

Can anyone shed some light as I am confused what is acceptable and what is not. Also is there a check list for things to prepare before moving there? any help from senior members would be appreciated. thanks

To add to question: Have the funds to be physically present while landing or is the Scotia Bank Statement enough?

Anyone?thanks
