Proof of funds upon landing?

Hey

Does anyone know if the proof of funds upon landing that has to be declared is $10,000 per person or per couple (we are going as a couple). We are also planning on opening an account with RBC before we get there, will i have to declare the money i have in the bank or only what i will bring with me.
