Hi everyone,

I am new here. I wanted to know about the new pilot program for open work permits when applying for PR under the in Canada spousal sponsorship. The situation I am in is that I am here on a work permit and have worked here a few years. About 3 years ago I met a special someone and we recently got married. My work permit is about to expire. If we submit an in Canada spousal sponsorship along with the open work permit application, am I able to continue working even if my current work permit expires while the open work permit is being processed? Is there implied status as I have heard?
