Open Work Permit - Spousal

My spouse is a Canada Permanent Resident (PR Holder), I have applied for Outland PR Spousal Sponsorship, currently under process since 2019. Recently I have got my TRV approved, I am eligible to apply for open work permit under spousal sponsorship after reaching Canada on TRV?? Somebody please reply....

Yes, you should be allowed. It takes 4-5 months.

Scylla, It is very clear in that link, applicants living in Canada along with sponsor can apply for OWP....It is not mentioned anywhere whether it is Outland or Inland applications. I think as long you are in Canada on a temporary resident status living with sponsor you can apply for OWP. Please correct me with more clarity if i am wrong??

Yes - it is mentioned. See my quote directly from the IRCC web site in your other thread. This is a very well known rule.

I apologize. I misread. You have applied outland so you are not eligible for an open work permit if you travel to Canada. Will delete my post for misinformation.
