Outland application. We're doing our medicals on Monday. We're going to Costco today to get our photos done.
How many do I need per person for the whole process?
How many do I need to take with us to the medical appointment?

Additional question:
Looking over the different photo size requirements, there is some discrepancy on finished size.

Appendix B states: "have a 35mm x 45mm finished size"
Visa Application Photo Specifications (from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp) states:
"the frame must be at least 35mm x 45mm"

The second one indicates that as long as the head/neck shoulders are in the correct posistion and the photo is at least that size, a larger overall frame is acceptable.

I held up our passport photos and the person in each fits exactly but the overall size is 2" x 2".

Can I use the passport photos, or can I cut them to be 35mm x 45mm?

in the uk you need 8 for the immigration forms and a further 5 for the medicals

It depends where the applicant is from. Make sure you read through the regional guide that applies to you.

<-Buffalo :)

The guide says 4 but I'm not sure if that's 4 with the PR application and then I need more for the medicals or if it's 4 total, with one or 2 for the medical, and I'm not seeing how many to take to the medicals - the doctor's office is completely unhelpful. With myself and 4 kids, all these photos get a little costly so I only want to get what I need.

I will admit my head is swimming from all the paperwork, wedding is in 3 weeks and we're mailing off the week after that and I'm SO nervous.

You need 8 photos total. 4 for the medical, and then another 4 for the photo part of the application. The 4 for the application are ridiculous and we had a heck of a time finding someone who would do it. And it took about an hour for them to be cut down to size. Just not fun at all.

Thanks for the replies! I added another question in my top post.
