If you already have a letter from your school indicating that it was scheduled break then reapply, attach the school letter and submit with a explanation letter.
Hello,
I am looking for some guidance over here. My PGWP work permit got refused and in the refusal letter, it was said that I didn't maintain my fulltime status in School. When enquired found that my refusal was based on the fact that I didn't attend classes in fall 2018. But, my fall 2018 was a scheduled break from the school. So, what should I do in this scenario? Should I send my school proof for the reconsideration or should I apply for restoration and reapply for my work permit again?
Hello everyone
I want to apply for PGWP in next 8 months. educationally i have no problem. only thing is my occupation. initially, i worked for 5 months with a 13.5$/hour as cook. Afterward, through negotiations between me and employer, we decided to have a constant 400$ a week and working no more than 10 hours (means max 400$ a week) with higher obligations and always on call. Thus, most of the time i worked couples hours more than 10 hours but not considered because max income was 400$. in addition i had some deductions from my total paycheck due to buying some stuff from there.
as a conclusion, considering a person who worked like a manager in a restaurant with a constant salary that turns into 40$/hour, is it problematic for my work permit procedure?
really appreciate for your response

thanks for reply
so you mean does not matter how much i get as payment and how much i had had before that amount. because as i said i started with 13.5$, after although my salary did not increase, comparing the hours i worked, i got more benefits.
because i know 40$/hour is too much for an immigrant, while that was an agreement between me an my employer. i am worried that officer thinks i cheated. i know such things happens a lot. for instance, if you yourself see an applicant who worked with this amount of salary, would you suspect?

That shouldn't matter to you if it is legal. They can't assess how good or qualified for a job you are. I know folks who worked as Pharmacists while they were in grad school as international students in Canada and they made in that region of wage per hour. All are PRs now.

I seriously doubt that you were being paid $40/hour to do the job of a $13.50/hour cook, regardless of the "higher obligations and always on call". It seems more likely that you worked well above the 20 hours/week max and are now trying to find a good lie to cover up the illegal work.

You see?
That's why I'm worried
As I said I was there most of time but I was not working. I was there to watch things while I was doing my personal stuff. So I was there even 20 or 25 hours but not working. I know it's weied
