Finally got my Application number after 2 months.
But not able to link yet
for me it took 2 weeks after getting the application number to link with GC KEY
Approved!!!
Applied: Nov 27, 2023
Linked to Gc Key Feb 15, 2024
Review started: "never" - they didn't update this
Biometrics letter: August 12th, 2023 (First and only update in my application)
Final decision: August 13th, 2023
Hope this would be helpful, and don't lose hope. I was very stressed out but we can't do much just wait. I will say the backlog is so big, count 260 days after they received your application.
good luck everyone!
Hey....do you have any idea how many days does it take for the document to receive at your address??
Approved.......
Applied: December 18,2023
Linked to GC KEY : March 18, 2024
First Update: August 26, 2024 ( Biometric Correspondence Letter)
Final Decision: August 27, 2024
Total Wait time - 254 days
I had a similar case. Recently, I reached out to my local MP to request that they contact IRCC on my behalf. In response, I received the following communication:
“CPC-Edmonton is currently processing PAPER PGWP singles applications received up to and including 2023/11/01.
Applications are in queue for processing and will be processed in date order received.”
I hope this helps.
Have you applied online or paper-based?
Hello, how did you apply with a paper-based application? Could you share the steps and necessary documents needed for submission?
Thank you. Hope to hear from you.

Hi guys, I just sent my paper application last week. How long does it take to receive any letter that allows to keep working as the way is received online? I have read here that I need to link my application to the Gckey. What else should I do? I'm a little confused.
I really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Hi, I used Canada post. I would like to know what is the average time to receive a letter for implicit status. Have you hear about it?
