PGWP Extension 18 months - Passport Stamping Expired - How to get it stamped

Greetings!

I am planning to submit my PGWP extension application. My temporary resident status (Passport stamping expired) but I have a valid work permit till July. How to get it stamped. Please advise.

Thanks for the response. Please let me know if I need TRV for PGWP extension under new public policy. if I am already in Canada and didnt travel since Jan 2020.

Did you applied for the work permit extension? if you applied, could you please let us know which document you filled out for the extension(IMM???).
I am in Canada and I am also in verge of my work permit expiry date.

The TRV is independent from PGWP and you can apply for it later once you get the PGWP. You only need the TRV to reenter to Canada if you need to travel, while the PGWP will let you stay and work in Canada.

If you qualify to apply for the PGWP extension under the new public policy, these are the documents you need to fill:

• Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada [IMM 5710] (PDF, 0.58 MB)
• Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] (PDF, 0.80 MB), if applicable
  • Must be notarized to be considered valid.
  • If you are not in the same country as your common-law partner at the time of signature, each person can present their own declaration and submit the IMM 5409 with the application.
• Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] (PDF, 1.52 MB), if applicable
• Authority to release personal information to a designated individual [IMM 5475] (PDF, 1.52 MB), if applicable
