Hi,

My PGWP will expire in two months. with my CRS 471, I may not get an ITA by then. I'm considering two options, please advise if they're viable:

1: Apply for Visitors Record which has a processing time of 200 days. My question is: if I get my AOR either while waiting for VR or on VR, will I be eligible for BOWP and work? cuz it's a visitor visa. I don't want to be stuck in Canada not able to work while waiting for PR to be approved.

2: Apply for PGWP extension, which WILL be rejected. But it gives me a few months of maintained status. If get AOR on maintained status, I can apply for BOWP, right? Will I be able to withdraw the PGWP extension application after applying for BOWP? Will this option endanger my PR?

Thank you so much! Helpful responses are always appreciated!
