So I'm 20 years old and I recently graduated from a one year program in a Canadian College and got my PGWP approved 2 months after I graduated (November 2023 - month of PGWP approval).
During my studies, my international advisor strictly told me to find a job related to my studies for it to count as work experience that would benefit my express entry application. At the time, I have a really good job position working part time as a Assistant Manager at a Coffee Shop (NOC 0631) and I still work as an Assistant Manager to this very day.
The Dilemma I have is, now that I have my PGWP, should I listen to my international advisor and seek out jobs related to my studies (since I'm under a PGWP for one year)? Or should I stay at my current job and gain 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager (focusing on the NOC)?
I just don't know if it will count as Work Experience if I work at the Coffee Shop under a PGWP instead of an LMIA+Work Permit.

It will count for Express Entry. Depending on the province you live in for PNPs, your job may need to match your education. Research Express Entry and the province you are living in.
