I am an international student and my study permit expires on 31st August 2020 and I am planning to apply for PGWP by 27th August.
1. My passport had an expiry date of August 2022 which would not have let me get PGWP for 3 years. So I got my passport renewed but my study permit still has the old passport number. I am aware that I don't need to submit my study permit with PGWP application but I am still concerned if this could be a problem or a potential reason for PGWP rejection.
2. Do I need to submit both the passports with an explanation letter? because my visa and stamps are still in the old passport. if yes, what should I write in the explanation letter, and is it alright if submit both the passports and explanation letter in a single pdf file?
