Pgwp after expired study permit

Hi all

My study permit expired on Nov 30, but I have already applied for extension on Oct 16 but have not received a decision as of now ! I am done with all my exams and hoping to receive my transcripts and letter of graduation by December 25th. So can I apply for PGWP while waiting for Extended Study permit ? Keeping in mind that my study permit expired on Nov 30 already

Well, It's better you wait for your study permit to arrive. Then continue to appy for your PGWP with it. Anyway, you have 180 days fmto apply for it.

The current waiting time for study permit extension to be approved is 99 days! I m only done with 45 days! It’s taking really long to wait

I have totally same situation with yours, can update from you ? I am still waiting for my study permit and haven't applied PGWP yet

hi, I m also in the same situation right now, waiting for an extension from November, but graduate in December. what the problem is that most officers request for a transcript nowadays ( mine friend got transcript request 15 days ago) when they access your application for extension and if you give your final transcript. its shown you already graduated and no longer needed extension for study maybe they cancel your extension and on that situation you need to go with "status restoration" as a visitor and also need to apply PGWP as on restoration status.
Mostly this situation has rejection in PGWP.
if there is any solution for that please give your comments.

Today They requested transcripts from me , but I already applied for PGWP on implied status , let see what result will come .The transcripts that I will send them , that will show them , I already graduated on 28 jan 2020 , do not know what they will do with SP extension and PGWP application.

I would be very thankful to you , if you can elaborate your friend's case means what happened next after transcript request because Right now I am in this situation.

He got a extension approval after 15 days of transcript submission, but he has study pending. Not sure about our case.
Did you attached any explanation letter with your PGWP application.??
Plesae let me know if you get any answer about study permit extension application.

Is this happened to someone , means IRCC cancelled SP extension after request of transcripts.

I don't have any other person in my knowledge with this situation. So not sure about results that's by asking you.
