Hello,

As a PhD student, my degree duration is 4 years (about 90 credits). I am a thesis-based PhD student, where 12 credits are only courses (3 courses) and the rest of the credits are for my thesis. As per the link below, 50% of the degree (sometimes they say 50% of courses sometimes 50% of program) should be taken in-person to be eligible for PGWP. It is hard for me to believe that for PhD students it actually means that i need to take 2 out of 3 courses in person. Any advice? is it half of the credits or half of the courses?

Thanks!

I am not an expert but I think it's duration based. 50% of the duration of your course should be conducted in Canada.

I might be wrong though, others might be of better help.
