PGP 2021 New Applicants

Am I correct in my understanding of the press release yesterday regarding PGP in 2021, in that if you didn't send in an Interest to Sponsor form in 2020, you will not be able to do it this year because all the 30,000 intake will only be from people who have already sent in their interest. Will an Interest to Sponsor form be available to new people in 2021. It seems very unfair to miss out new applicants.

The 30,000 will be drawn from the 2020 pool of applicants who were not selected.

No interest form will be available this year.

If you were not in the 2020 pool, then you are not eligible for this year's draw and will need to wait until next year.

I was wondering how the adjusted earnings levels would help anyone who had already entered their interest as they must have been in the earnings required already.

However thanks for your reply even though it is very disappointing as we thought this year we would have a chance. We couldn't apply last year because of a glitch in earnings, we have been applying for the last 4/5 years.

Earning requirements would be still 2020-2019-2018 and yes, it does not change or help with the already in the pool, since IRCC still take 2020 instead of 2021
