Personal History Question

Guys, got a quick one.

My study period was Dec 2010 to Feb 2014

I partly lived in Malaysia during this time and came back to home country in June-13 and started internship in Sep-13.

So the question is, how shall i state this 3 month gap from June-13 to Sept 13 in my personal history?

a) Unemployed? OR
b) Studying-with no degree awarded? And explain the over lap with internship in LOE since these 3 months fall within the study period?

Please advise.

Studying with no degree being awarded. In your letter of explanation let them know that you were doing internship, hence your selection !
