Called them .Still under process.Awaiting Decision.No further update yet on ECAS . Called them n they assured to do the needful.Hopefully will b done sooner now

Hi. that's great.
At which point (1 or 2) is it when they open the mail.
I sent mine on June 18, I got a delivery notification from Canada Post but nothing from CIC.
Am I supposed to receive any emails or notifications on the system when I mail it or when they received it or when they open it?
opening the mail means the start of processing or just received and sorted?

They opened it on point 2 "August 31" , I received an AOR email on August 31.

As long as you complied with RO of 730 days within last 5 years before signing the application/ since becoming PR?

Yes...So submitting the supporting documents as soon as possible...Just don't know the delay I have to deal with

Did u receive message e mail or by post? I wonder why did u not submit passport copies with application. But since u were here for sufficient number of days,u need not worry.It will be soon as your case is already under process.
