looks like updates happen a day behind. i.e. any updates for today show up tomorrow morning. Friday updates happen Saturday morning.

Yup, best case scenerio the card arrives early December. I'll tomorrow to find out if they've started opening applications sent late August

Highly likely it was sent as urgent. I got my AoR last week and I was x August received. Close to impossible they worked through to 23rd August that quickly unless it was urgent.

Rough overview of when to expect an AoR just from observing previous timeframes

x August = should have received it by now
10-15 August = This week or early next week
15-20 August = Nov 7-16
20+ August = Nov 19-28+

Regardless, the Canada Post strike is REALLY bad right now so you want your AoR to be delayed as parcels and letters are going missing all over the place. Imagine going through the process, not receiving your PR and having to do it all over again.

Not sure how much experience you have with them but You can't time cic processing.
