I would be traveling alone and am looking for a temporary accommodation for 10 days there so i can rent my own accommodation there but initially i need a stay for 10 days. Anyone who is also traveling alone there on the same date???
1. I have got my PR back in May this year and it will expire on Feb 2, 2016. I understand that I have to land in Canada before the PR expires. Is there an option that I can land in Canada for couple of days and come back to USA to wrap up my stuff?
2. I am currently residing in USA and have applied my Canadian PR from here in USA. Does this mean I have to enter Canada from USA and not from any other country? I was thinking to make a trip to back home (Pakistan) and then travel to Canada to fulfill the requirements of landing.
3. And the last question that I have is do i need to do anything between now and the time I land in Canada (probably in Jan. 2016)?

As long as you have a valid US visa you can enter into the US and wrap up your stuff.

You can enter into Canada from any country since you have a PR visa.

Prepare your B4 list for both Goods To Accompany and Follow. If you will be exporting your car, gather all the information from the forum and online.

It is going to be cold, so get a few warm clothes till you buy your winter wardrobe from Toronto. As for jobs, I believe that the market would be sluggish around that time as most companies are wrapping up their financial year. It also highly depends on your skill-set and whether you need to be licensed to work in your profession.

As i search on net i see lots of IT jobs in toronto. Can we apply and get job before entering canada? I have not started job search yet, once i am done with spouse & child's medical will start applying.
Anyone here who has experience in IT job search?
Hows job market and what are the chances of getting job before landing or may be how many months or weeks it would take to get IT job after landing?
