I got a PCC request in Feb.15 2014 3 days after my MR.As it requested for 4 countries that I have been, I have to rush on doing the it esp. on one country that would need a CIC request for them to issue.
I were able to submit all but I have overlooked the one from my home country that is already 3 months and 15 days old upon the receipt of CIC.
Anybody here got a request for PCC again for the same reason?I know the requirement is 3 months but I'm still hoping a consideration can be given.
It states in the document checklist that most PCC's are valid for a year.CIC is asking for it to be submitted not more than 3 months old so that the PCC is still valid for 9 months, the time they are starting to review the PR application. That doesn't mean that my PCC is not valid anymore.CIC is just setting a buffer time for the processing. As if it happens that a PCC is submitted let's say 6 moths old, and the processing of the PR is not completed that's the time CIC will ask for a new one.
A nice opinion but then again I would just prepare the docs needed for a new PCC so that in case CIC ask, I'll be ready to submit a new one.
So does that mean even though I have a PCC that was printed in December 2013 I should get a new one because it won't be valid if I am submitting it for my PR application in June 2014?
