Dear team members - I have a general question about validity of PCC. I have worked in couple of countries during last 15 years
2006 - 07 UK
2007 -08 Germany
India as Home country
2019- Current Canada
I have managed to get the PCC done from UK India and Germany about 2-3 years ago .
My question is , are these PCC now valid as its about 2-3 years old . I am under the impression that we need to collect PCC from all countries where we have stayed more than 6 months and they can be taken any time after we have left the country , is that correct .
Yes you are right your PCCs even though expired are still valid if they were obtained after you left the country and never spent more than 6 months in that country after you left it,

most welcome, i can share my experience where in i left US in 2015 December and than went there for few days in March 2019. But my Police Clearance was obtained in 2018 for work permit. So i submitted the same for my PR and it was accepted since they confirmed me i dont need to submit any further documents.

I got India PCC from Toronto on Oct 2019 and since then I haven't travelled to India. Last month, I got a PR invitation. Can I use the same PCC for PR processing?
Do I have to mention this in the letter of explanation? If yes what information should I include in it? Do you have any formate?

No if ur citizen of India than your PCC will be considered as expired and you need to submit fresh pcc. The above condition is for countries where you have stayed on residence visa.
Hey Rahul , I saw you mention to another question that Indian PCC should be recent , is that true . Even if i have not traveled or stayed more than 06 months in India after i got my PCC which was again 1.5 yrs ago ?
yes PCC for country of residence and your country should be recent at most can be 3-6 months old. If its Indian PCC which is 1.5 years ago it should be latest.
