Thanks for your reply, do they ask for ITA?? And do you have any idea if spouse name is not endorsed on passport and pcc is applied as married nor single, in that case do they provide pcc or they ask to endorse it first on passport and then apply for pcc.

Well actually, the PCC is issued on the same day if:
a. There is no address change from your current passport,
b. Police Verification was carried out when your current passport was issued (there are scenarios where it is not needed or isn't carried out)
c. It has been less than 6 months since police verification was carried out for your current passport or another PCC application by you

Can you please answer below query,
If spouse name is not endorsed on passport and while applying for pcc we select married then in this case do they send back ask to endorse name 1st then give pcc or marriage certificate is more than enough and I will get pcc.

No, My passport was issued in September, I got married in November and applied for PCC in December and while filling the form I marked as married. At the time of PCC issuance I was asked for Proof of marriage (original marriage certificate needs to be carried) at the PSK even though it does not show up in the list of documents to be brought given by the PSK.
They checked my documents and handed my PCC in person before I left the PSK for the day.
Edit: I remembered one more detail, one of the PSK officers scribbled "passport single/PCC married" on print out of my application and took a signature from me there.
@afza16 - how much time did it take for PCC from Thane? My address verification by police and document submission at police station is done with on Saturday. Trying to understand by when I can expect PSK Thane to issue PCC. Thanks
