Hi All,

What is the best way to get PCC in India.

Whom to contact and what form should we fill to get PCC for all the countries I stayed for more than 6 months.

How long does it take to get PCC certificates. How much does it cost.

Hi,

In India you can contact your Regional Passport Office from where you got the passport.
Or you can go to the Office of the District Superintendant of Police for a PCC.

Thanks Wilson for the update.

Suggest me which will be faster ..either going to Passport Office or to Police Superindentant.

Also let me know how long does it take to get the police clearance certificate.

Hi,

I don't think that I have to explain you the methods for getting any certifications "faster" in India. Police Dept will not take much time if you explain the urgency to the Inspector who deals your case.

One more quick question about PCC

After the age of 18 I have worked in following countries and CURRENTLY IN INDIA

1. AUG 2004 - DEC 2004 - 4 months in Canada
2. April 2006 - February 2008 - 22 Months in Singapore
3. February 2008 - February 2009 - 12 Months in USA
4. Currently in India

I came to know that I need to take PCC for countries where I have stayed more than 6 months

According to that I beleive I need to take PCC FROM SINGAPORE, USA AND INDIA.

Please let me know can I get the PCC for all the countried in India Police Office itself or I need to get PCC from corresponding countries.

Please let me know the procedure.
