PCC from PSK in Mumbai

Hi friends

Is there anyone from Mumbai who has received an ITA and submitted PCC from the PSK? Is it accepted by the CIC?

This is because the CIC portal mentions that for residents of India other than Punjab and Delhi, PCC needs to be collected from local district police station. However getting this is turning out to be a insurmountable task.

I got it issued from Mumbai Police Special Branch. I preferred to do it as per the CIC website instructions.
