As per above please correct my understanding,
From 1st stmt - As I am not living in that country and I have not stayed any time for more than 1 month so I do not require to have PCC from XYZ country.
From 2nd stmt - It is mandatory if I have reside in any country total more than 6 months.
So it is total confusing. Please any one help me to guide in this case.
Its indeed confusing...
But CIC/IRCC may reject your application if you don't furnish this required (as per the second para of 'police verification' requirement) document or if you're lucky, they may offer you a second chance and ask you to provide PCC for XYZ country... however in order to avoid any hassle and/or delay and to be on safer side you can definitely apply for PCC from XYZ country and submit it upfront...

I have some doubt related to PCC...my passport contains my older address & surname while i have new address & new name on my marriage certificate. What address I have to mention for PCC my older one or newer one?? if new one then what proof I can attach for current address.
