I have a PCC from the police station of Gautam Buddh Nagar district (Noida, to be precise) but it is geo-bound, ie, the PCC mentions that it is for Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
I have read info on other threads that it is advisable to get a PCC from the PSK as (1) they are not geo-bound and (2) they provide a PCC stamp on the passport.
I have certain challenges going to the PSK hence, this request for information from all you Indian folks - has anyone used a police station PCC recently and successfully completed the entire procedure or even a major part of it? Or vice-versa?

Since you turned 18 years old, have you lived in any other city or place other than Noida and Gautam Budh Nagar district? If yes, you will need to get a PCC from PSK. Process at PSK is pretty simple.

I suggest you get it from the PSK. If your current address and address mentioned in the passport is the same you should get it on the same day from PSK provided your police verification at the time of passport was clear.
