Hey guys, is it possible to pay the immigration fees online in two payments instead of everything at once?
My fees calculations are:
Sponsor = $ 75
Principal applicant = $ 475
Right of Permanent Residence Fee = $ 490
--------------
$1040
My common-law partner is sponsoring me. He does not have a credit card. I have one, but my limit is $1000 because it is a new one and I was just a student here in Canada. I have the cash in my bank account, but I didn't want it to take so long to get my payment receipt.
Can I pay the first to fees in one shot, transfer the money to my credit card and pay the last fee a bit later in the same day and have 2 receipts instead of one?
Or do I really have to show all of the fees paid in the same receipt?
Thank You so much.
I don't want to pay later, I want to pay it all in the same day. But my credit card limit won't allow one transaction only. So I would have 2 receipts instead of one. I was just scared that having 2 receipts would be a problem for them.
Getting a bit paranoid before submitting it all. Sorry guys!
If you do have the money then do as Ponga says cuz you might create a confusion at cic and that might delay your process.
Pay today the 550 and in a few days (when you charge your credit card again), the 490$.
If you pay in other way, lets say 1000$ and 40$, you risk them just checking the first one and reply to you saying it was incomplete.
I honestly think you are better 550 now and 490 tomorrow or whenever your money kicks in
Thats What I'm doing. Paying the first to required fee in one receipt, and the last one in another. If possible all in the same day or one day apart.
I put extra credit on my credit card to check if I can pay it all at once, but if not possible at least I am relieved that that would not be an issue and I would not have to wait forever for an official confirmation of payment.
Hopefully everything will be paid tomorrow and I can send it all friday or monday!
