submitted passports to vfs chandigarh on 14th sep. today the status has changed to " Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 21/09/2017 vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website." any idea who is the courier partner?

Too soon to be worried. Me and few others here have submitted on 08th Sep and still got no updates.
In any case, VFS will not be able to provide any more details than that on their online tracking.

Why they take so much time? Any idea. I know some people who got there visa stamped in 5 to 8 days.

Absolutely no clue.
But i have been searching the net a lot on this and my observation has been that there have been ppl who have had long delays in Passport stamping but i have seen no case where there has been a refusal after PPR. So just being patient and positive is the way to go.

Plus, upon submission at VFS Bangalore, I was told that it would take approximately 15-20 days to receive the passport back.

So we are not the only ones facing this. Its normal.

Hi. CIC status not changed yet. VFS updated that PP has been realsed and sent through courier. Got msg from VFS too. Expecting change of status on CIC by tomorrow morning.
