I live in New Delhi. Can i directly walk-in to NDVO and submit my passport or do i still need to send it via VFS?

Passports submitted on 12 feb..delivered to embassy 13 feb...when cn we expect them back..automated machine status says file approved but no change in cic check my application status page..it shows only DM...what to expect now..

I received an RFV email on 17th Feb 2018 after filling out Webforms/sending emails to CIC OTTAWA and NDVO.
Submitted passports at Mumbai VFS on 19 Feb 2018.
Status as on today 24 Feb 2018... UNDER PROCESS AT NDVO.
VFS says avg processing time.. 10-15 working days.. so expecting around March 07, 2018.

Yes...we got them back..after requesting from the embassy and showing that out tickets are booked ...we are so happy...i will fly bck with my spouse this time...

For some ppl they have taken 5 weeks to return the passport.....i read in a forum here...

To which mail id did u send a email to inform them that u have already booked your tickets.. kindly advice on this as im in the same situation. Submitted passport on 1 st march and booked tickets for 19 th march already. But still didn't receive my passports back..

Also, can I book my tickets for say two months from now or do I need to get my passport back first to proceed with the ticket booking?

Same question. Medical expiry is 02-June.

My husband’s passport was received by NDVO on 13-Mar but no update yet, except for an email today from SGVO (primary VO) that our passports are already in the “Urgent” queue.

Hi, I have submitted my passport on 20 March and got the stamped one back today otseit. To the extent that I'm aware of, it takes minimum 2 weeks, but as per the VFS guy, they are even taking a month these days as the rush is hifh. Don't worry, you'll get it back soon..

Congratulation Neel . I am anxious about my VISA as i am travelling with my Spouse and already 1 month late . i was supposed to be there on march itself but due to process its still extended bit longer and longer . i am worried about applications,it should not have any problem now .
