What was weird, CIC agent told me it takes 4 weeks, 1 week left.

I asked her twice

I had the same problem. Try calling them after 4pm. I got into the queue when I called them at 4:05. Chances are more if you call after 4. By 4pm eastern province will be out of queue. So after 4 it’s only Alberta and bc in waiting line.

Oh, thanks a lot. I will give this a try. My passport was received on 14th December. I just want to confirm that they have my passport and if my application has been approved since it does not say anything on myCIC and only says DM in ECAS.

I can't see mycic cause I use a third party, but a couple people on page 6 recently got approved. Also, there are some on here as well... if you use this.

hi just wondering why in the immigration tracker there are some that got approved just few day after their passport received and check everything that they are also inland and ottawa office..just a thought..
