They have not touched any new passports received after August 26, 27 it looks. It's weird this kind of timeline because at the beginning of August passports got returned in just 10 days appx and now 2-3 weeks files are not even updated on the system. This is unusually slow and it's not good because they don't have a standard for this.
I am not sure. But I think the approving must be done individually on each file and thus the status update on mycic should also be individual.

For sure, I am just wondering if the same people work on different quotas ie this week they need to finish their PPRs, next week their ITA's and so on.
It's not the same number. There is always a tracking number printed on the Envelop(with a barcode). It just gets activated when your mail is accepted / picked by Canada Post.

Had the tracking number printed on the receipt .. guess the girl at the counter did not tell me to to keep the number for the return envelope before I sealed it :-[
Oh well, opening my mailbox in the evening will be like opening presents ;D
