Finally received our copr today! That was quick turnover once cic sends them to canada post!
Phew! Finally done with all the waiting. Finally gonna do the landing at Coutts border this weekend.
My timeline
PPR Sept 13
Passports received at CPC-Ottawa Sept 16
App approved and closed Sept 27
COPR received October 3
Landed (flagpole) last Friday around 5pm at Peace Arch ;D
There was a pretty long line up at the US customs building (we were driving), we waited for about an hour to get the flagpole paper. It seems that for people who walk to the border it is a lot faster since they get called first. The US officers were very nice and keep apologizing for the long wait. The Canada border was very fast, we got called immediately and the paper were ready within 10 minutes.

Application approved and closed in CiC on Sep 30th. Tracker not yet activated. I am hoping Tracker will be activated on the 3rd business day after the application is approved.
can you please tell us some main steps based on your recent experience? I am planning to take my parents (if we get our passport on time from CIC) over this weekend to do flag pole at coutts, can I walk with them on US side?
I'm not sure how it is with the Coutts border, but I just drove through the monitored gates, was asked to park and go into the US border office where I was given the 'entry denied' form, which I took to the Canadian wing and completed my landing procedure
