Did you get any email update before looking at the My CIC account?

I am checking my cic spontaneously every couple of hours, so no, didnt get the email yet, I expect I'll get it tomorrow.

For those whose applications got approved, when you check the status, is it still open or is the application closed?

P.s. I havnt received any ghost mail yet but my file just got approved n closed a few hours ago.

My Passport reached Ottawa on Oct 27th.
File approved and Closed on Nov 6th.
Email received on Nov 7th.
Still no return tracker activated. A little bit of relief for u.

Guys, is there anybody still waiting for return tracker to be activated whose passports reached on 27th or so?? Pls let me know..
I was hoping I'd get it by this week end... It does not seem like it now...
