I got my PPR today ;D I was wondering if there are any other British Citizens on this thread? From the PPR email it seems I only have to send copies of passports and 2 photos, not the actual passport. Anyone else done this? Also how long will I be waiting now??

Hi there. Same boat as you GSherrif. UK Citizen too, dropped Ottawa an emai asking for a VO transfer and waiting. You read right. They are only after 2 photos and copies of your passport, not the actual passport. Drop them an email and hopefully you ll get a PPR email from the London Visa with all the details.

Received passport and COPR today!

Visa is good till Aug 2016 - 1 year since medicals were submitted to CIC.

Interestingly enough, myCIC was updated to approved/closed on Oct 28, but according to passport, visa was issued since Oct 20. Just somethng to note for those still waiting.

This forum has been a HUGEEE help for me. I'll be sticking around for a while to help others, if I can.

I have a question. Got my PPR yesterday, I have everything ready to send. But I had a query, I have an old expired passport that has all the visas and everything and a new passport I got a few months ago. Should I just send the new passport in or should I attach any copies of the old passport?
