Passports sent to Ottawa in March 2015

i sent my passport mar 3 then they received it mar 6 in xpresspost tracking system. i called CIC mar 17 to asked about my passport they said they received it mar 12. so does it mean that they already opened my envelope?

March 12th was the VISA issued date if my assumptions are correct. So the time for printing the VISA is within 7 days from the date of issue. So you will get your passport this week or early next week based on trends.

i guess youre right. i called again today mar 18 then the agent told me that its in the queue for printing. hope they will send it to me this week or nxt week coz i want to do a flag polling on 26-27. i want to have my vacation on 2nd week of july, do you think its doable? pr card is 2 months in process hope i have enough time. i havent been home since 2008...

Same here brother, my Passport was also delivered on March 5 and nothing yet. I guess we have to wait more. Being optimistic we will get passport back this week

I cancel my business trip twice. Its just not good. Hopefully we will get it tomorrow. The worst thing is I lost my tracking no. somewhere can't even track so that I can book my flights accordingly... I have Visa interview for US tomorrow. I guess I will have to reschedule my appointment.

Pinoy don't forget to mention to the border officers that you would need your PR card urgently as you are traveling. I have seen them put a note on the file if that is the case. Although there's no guarantee, it should mean something good.

Nope, I thought after printing it few days before they would mail the passport back. Not sure if they are doing it in batches or something.

Nothing for me either. So much for my wish of landing on my birthday.. grr! Oh well. Whatever Now I don't care when it comes anymore. I have a good long open work permit lol.. On a serious note, i am hoping we get our trackers tomorrow so we get it on Friday. :
