Passport with TRV returned to sender (CPP)

Hello,

I sent my passport to the visa office in Ottawa and have included a return envelope as requested. The return envelope was out for delivery, but there was a problem with my address and Canada Post returned my passport to the sender (CPP).

I sent an e-mail to CPC yesterday, but still no answer. Have anyone experienced this problem before? Will I be able to get my passport back? Will it take long? Will it be useful if I go to the CPC office in Ottawa in person?
