It shows “Your application was approved. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application.”
When I applied to TRV last year, this is the lastest message they shown, and I got my passport back ten days after I sent it to CPP.
 
Hey,

I applied for an extension of my TRV on November 22nd and have still not received a passport request. I have to travel outside the country on December 18th due to a personal matter. Is there any chance the entire process would be completed by then? If not, is there anyway i can travel outside Canada and have my visa stamped from my home country instead?

without passport we can't go USA.
 
Hi everybody I have been waiting almost one month to get my passport back since I sent it to cpp Ottawa, I have my flight on December 19 which it's very important and I can't change it.

So my question is if I ask them to send me the passport back for next week even without visa are they gonna do it?
Have someone done it before?
