Should email them a million times!

There is no use in doing it.. They respond one week after you send them a mail..

Hello everybody
I just sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca but just after getting the auto reply email I realized this:


IMPORTANT: If you are the applicant or an authorized representative, you must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

· Surname and Given name(s);
· Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
· Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number;
· Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident);

I just wrote the application number in the body of the email along with the question, but didn't included the birthday, UCI and category.
Should I send a new email following all the protocol exactly as requested ?, or is not a big deal

You would better send it again. Otherwise. they cannot confirm your identity.

Application Approved - 1 November
Passport Sent - 2 November
Passport received By ottawa Office - 6th November

You better send CPC an email with flight tickets and call them as well. Going by my experience and reading the forum, you are very tight.. Just call them and explain your situation..

Same issue here.. My wedding is on Dec 7 and i am not sure if i can be there.. I just broke the news to my family about my cancellation of flight. I assured them that i will be there by the wedding day but i dont know..

Same issue here.. My wedding is on Dec 7 and i am not sure if i can be there.. I just broke the news to my family about my cancellation of flight. I assured them that i will be there by the wedding day but i dont know..

I already sent them email ewith flight tickets yesterday...fax is not going through...sent case specific enquiry.

I am in real problem here, last tuesday I revoked my gc key by accident..(bad luck ofcourse)..on wednesday(Nov 22) ..I received email that status application has been updated..no clue. Tried making new Gc key and linking application to it ...but no luck.

Call CIC the IVR will read the current status for you.

I did..they said they cant access my GC key...but visa is not stamped yet for sure.

Then my friend you better call them and ask them to send back your passport. I guess they have this option. If VISA is not stamped yet the chances are very bleak.. If i were you i would get my passport back..
