So, Ive heard that you will have to send your passport to the canadian immigration office somewhere in the student visa application process.
If they ask for my passport, I have to mail it to them which is in a neighboring country(Im in Malaysia, CIC office is in Singapore). Problem is, I need to go travelling meaning Ill need my passport. What do I do?
Thanks.
Use a courier- UPS/FedEx?
You have to send passport with your application if you are from a country the citizens of which have to obtain temporary visitor visas.
Please read www.cic.ca.ca
Ok....
Im going to be more specific.
Sending my application to singapore office, it takes 8 weeks to process. I am doing my application online. I am also going to europe in 5 weeks, the ticket was booked a while ago.
So if I send my passport now with my application, that means I will only get it back in 8 weeks right? So that means, I cannot go to europe since I dont have my passport. Is there a way around this?
