Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Riyadh

I guess delays are caused mainly by students applying for visas to study in Canada.
Passport submitted 23/7/2015, still waiting

My hope is you.. Please update whenever u get your passports back. I hope we will get on same day

Hopefuly they send them in bulk for all of us, I imagine all passports with stamps on someone desk waiting for his final signature

Someone told me riyadh is faster than abu dhabi.. thats why i came from UAE to Saudi for passport submission.

Now its taking more time than abu dhabi.. LOL>.. in AD people getting in 3 weeks now.. crazy unpredictable Canada.

Same here. Its a being a long wait already. Other day my wife was saying that they must have lost the passports . i had to calm her down explaining that the processing in Riyadh is very slow and that's why the delay.

I did call VSF today, they said it is normal for PR visa to take a month or slightly more. Online visit visa's take a week.

You can raise CSE to london office. Its mentioned in the letter.. incase of delay you can contact london office not riyadh..

I will also raise CSE on tomorrow.. I guess we all raise CSE to london office so that they will contact riyadh office

Latest passport returned took 29 days (@Faithful84x), for me it is 27 days until today so if it crosses the one month by a week for example I will raise CSE.

But if u will raise CSE on friday then it will be answered by next tuesday wednesday.. so another 5-6 days for CSE reply.. so its always better to raise CSE 3-4 days before completion of 4th week.. Thats why im going to raise cse by this friday.

A friend of mine got it within 4 or 5 days and that was in June. I can't understand this delay. can we expect rejection in this phase??? But since all of us in the same boat, it seems to be normal.
