If you are in Riyadh (or nearby or able to travel to Riyadh VO), you should do what drahmedlab did yesterday. See his post on previous page of this thread. To summarize, he went in person to RVO and demanded his passport back. He got it back with the visa stamp within 24 hours.

I thought about doing this. But I'm concerned that although it did worked for one person but if we all start to do this it might further delay the visa or may lead to rejection. Since we are told not even to contact the Riyadh VO. For me its been 60 days now. No reply have yet been received for the CSE that i send last week to London VO.

Visiting embassy might be risky until unless u really have valid reason like medical emergency, business trip lined up or some kind of proof to show later on incase london office asked you.
So we already spent 6-7 weeks so its wise to wait another 2-3 weeks if you are not travelling anywhere.

I am not sure what to do, I have booked my flight to Canada on 20/9/2015, it is costly to change tickets and cancel my plans. I hope it is returned before that date.
