Passport still not received after PPR request

Friends, CIC received my passports 3.5 weeks back and am still waiting to get back. I am just trying to analyse what I might have done wrong which is delaying the process...I am requesting some thoughts from all members here...I am in the midst of a personal emergency but cant travel without the passports..

Following are the reasons which I could think of which might have delayed my passport stamping...

1. Sending multiple emails requesting the status of the stamping?
2. Requesting GCMS notes last week?

Please let me know your thoughts...

number one answers it all. patient is golden they said. I am sure u will get ur visa this week. remain blessed and stop sending them emails

I have already decided not to send anymore emails and just wait...but just trying to check if anyone had similar experience..

Where I will land depends on when I get my passport back...have a couple of options

you are having a panic attack for no reason. there is nothing wrong with your process, you have waited more than a year, now u just need to wait few more weeks.

Passport delivery is anywhere between 3-8 weeks. So you are good.

May be I am but have a emergency travel plan on hold..so was just trying to evaluate the situation..

Now that they have started returning passport yesterday, I am sure you'll get yours in a day or two.
