That’s right..but my friend just did her flagpoling last week at peace bridge..it’s was okey

She did at evening time at peace bridge..first she went at rainbow bridge , they said it’s closed now.
 
Information that may be useful for those who have an option to flagpole at Peace Bridge. When you're driving to the US, before you actually get onto the bridge, there is U-turn with a sign Return to Canada, which leads directly to the Canadian border crossing without having to enter US, or worse yet, get denied entry at the US border. If you plan to travel to the US in the future, denied entry in the past may cause unnecessary trouble like increased scrutiny and being pulled over for secondary inspection.
 
My passport delivered on May 9, and application approved on May 14. I am still waiting for the return envelop to be activated :(
