I got my AIP on August 14 and applied for gcms notes. Once i got the notes, i noticed passport request but the request statues was listed not started. Criminality was passed-bio. I hvnt given Police report yet but its always required foreigners in my country of residence (not India though). Any ideas because i haven't been ask to submit it yet and its difficult to get one from police without any request from immigration. Any ideas if its waived?

Off-topic: I'd like to know when you've applied for the GCMS notes and how? I applied through thegcmsonline.com and have been waiting for more than 20 days now.

On-topic: I think you pretty much made it and will be issued a PPR when applicable. No need to worry.

Are you living in canada? I heard the request has to be done by a canadian or someone living in canada, is this true?

eligibility - passed
security, HIRV, Org crime, misrep, other req, final - empty
criminality - in progress
info sharing - in progress
counterfoil req - yes

do the gcms notes get updated automatically? I mean, if you wanna know if criminality has passed, will it show after sometime or you have to request GCMS notes again?

The notes you receive via email are simply a pdf attachment. You will have to apply again if you want to see more recent changes.

Either that or you can use intermediary services like thegcmsonline.com or caipsnotes.com.

Yes, if you know someone living in Canada they can obtain it for you. Otherwise you just a service online, there are few websites out there, I have used gcmsorder.com myself - their prices are good.
