I have received passport request and my medical is expiring in 30 days. Considering the visa stamping and passport courier time from USA to UK, I fear I will only get just few days to land.
Can Any one please advise what are my options to get more time? Can I redo medicals without CIC request and send the new medical results along with passports?

Hi,
My suggestion will be just sent your passport ASAP than wait for LVO's reply.Normally they extend medical up to one year. If you have to do medical again that LVO will advice you. Now just sent your passports ASAP.
Just for anyone in the same situation, I requested VO that I will have short time for landing and wants my medical redone.
VO accepted my request and contacted the New Delhi medical office to review our medical file and extend the medical validity. Medical office extended medical for the kids for another one year but asked myself and my spouse to have the chest x-rays done again.
After assessing the new medical results, I got the new medical expiry and got my visa with extended validity until next year.
